SKULK PROCESSES · HELP

Let’s get you moving.

Start with the task you need help with. Your organisation’s guides and permissions stay private.

My invitation has expired or does not open

Use the email address your organisation invited. Request a fresh access link below, then open the newest Skulk email. You can also enter its email verification code on the confirmation screen.

This email code is separate from an authenticator code. If your account is already set up, sign in with your usual method instead.

If no email arrives, check your junk folder and ask your organisation admin to confirm the invited address and access.

I’m being asked for an authenticator code

Use the current six-digit code for Skulk Processes in your authenticator app. The code from an invitation email will not work here.

During first-time setup on the same phone, copy the setup key from Skulk. In Google Authenticator, choose Add account, then Enter a setup key. Name it Skulk Processes, paste the key and choose Time based. Return to Skulk and enter the current code.

If you have already set it up and lost access to the authenticator, contact support. Do not share your password, setup key or verification codes.

I cannot see my organisation

Check that you signed in with the invited work email. An organisation appears only after you have access to it. Your organisation admin can check your membership and department permissions.

Company sign-in is configured separately for each organisation. Use the company sign-in link your admin provided; another client’s Google or Microsoft connection will not give you access.

I forgot my passphrase

Use account recovery if you sign in with a Skulk passphrase. If your organisation uses company sign-in, use your company’s account recovery process.

Record a process

Connect the desktop recorder
  1. Use the recorder download offered in your workspace and open Skulk Processes.
  2. Choose Connect to Skulk. In the browser, sign in and choose the organisation and folder.
  3. Check the destination before approving the connection. Return to the recorder when it is connected.

If the browser does not open, use the manual code option. If a download is not available, ask your admin; do not use an unofficial copy.

Record, review and submit
  1. Choose only the windows needed for one task. Close or hide unrelated private information.
  2. Start recording and demonstrate the task. Pause before doing anything private, then stop when finished.
  3. Review every screenshot and any recorded video. Remove or redact private content before confirming the review.
  4. Submit the recording. Keep the app open until it confirms receipt.

Recording controls and video availability depend on the installed app and operating system. The recorder does not start merely because it is connected.

My upload was interrupted or I cannot find the guide

Reopen the recorder and use Check / resume upload for the existing recording. Do not delete the local recording or start another upload while it is recovering.

After submission, scanning and AI drafting run in the background. Check the same organisation and folder in Skulk. A draft is not a published guide; your manager reviews it before the team can use it.

Find and review guides

The library is empty or a guide is missing

Check the selected organisation and folder, and clear any title search. Staff may only see approved guides in folders they can read. Ask your manager whether the guide is still a draft or your access needs checking.

AI could not prepare the draft

Your submitted source can remain available even if drafting fails. Open the retained draft or import preview and check the source. You can edit a draft yourself or use Improve with AI when the issue has been resolved.

If the message mentions an AI budget or disabled processing, ask your organisation admin. Do not repeatedly submit the same recording; another AI attempt can use additional allowance.

Approve a guide or make an agent draft

Managers review the actual steps, answer missing questions and approve the version the team should follow. Approval of an SOP does not automatically allow sharing with ChatGPT.

An agent draft is a proposal linked to approved SOP versions. It does not run the process, send messages or connect company credentials. Changes to a source guide require another review.

Connect ChatGPT or create a skill

Your organisation must allow external AI, and the selected approved SOPs must be eligible for sharing. Connect your own authorised Skulk account and check the requested permissions.

A connected skill uses references to approved procedures. Downloading a package does not install it in ChatGPT. Disconnecting stops future retrieval, but cannot recall content already disclosed in a chat or downloaded file.

Still need help?

For missing guides or permissions, start with your organisation admin. For a technical problem, contact Skulk.

Email Skulk support

Include the app version, the time of the problem and the message shown. Do not send passwords, authenticator setup keys, verification codes, API keys or confidential SOPs. Support access to organisation content must be separately approved.
