Setup & support
Can I install AI Finder now?

Yes. Skulk AI Finder is available on the Shopify App Store. Choose Install on Shopify to open the listing, select your store and review permissions and pricing in Shopify. This website does not install the app or start a subscription.

Will it work with my current theme?

Finder adds an app block to a compatible Shopify theme. Your theme needs to support app blocks where you want to place it. You do not need Fable, a Store Studio project, Visualiser or Website Builder. Preview the block in your theme before publishing it.

Do I need an account with an external AI provider?

You connect your Shopify store to a Skulk organisation during setup. The Shopify store owner and the Skulk organisation owner approve that connection. Skulk manages the connection to the external AI provider, so you do not need a separate provider account or your own API key.

How do the price and AI credits work?

The Starter plan is US$19 every 30 days and includes 100 AI credits per billing period. A complete AI search can use up to 2 credits. You can review your allowance and spending controls in the app. There are no automatic top-ups or usage charges. Shopify shows the applicable price and terms before you approve a subscription.

Will a photo find the exact same product?

A reference photo helps Finder look for relevant products with a similar look or feel in your catalogue. It is a starting point for discovery, not a guarantee of an exact match. Shoppers can follow a suggestion to the Shopify product page to check its details.

What happens when AI is unavailable?

Finder keeps an ordinary search route available. If AI is unavailable, disabled or out of credits, searches fall back to clearly labelled Shopify catalogue results. Shopify remains the source for product details, prices, availability and checkout.
